How this rule was checked
On 11 Oct 2026 we checked this rule against official sources, chiefly EUR-Lex: Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 158/2007 (OJ L 124, 8.5.2008, p. 20), as part of one check of all 29 countries of the Schengen area. Two independent checks reached the same result.
Before the check, public visa data (as of 17 Feb 2026) said: visa-free. The official source shows: freedom of movement, and that is what this page shows.
See this check in the log of checks and changes, and how verification works in the methodology.
