El proceso de postulación para la autorización previa o visa se realiza a través de la plataforma electrónica Servicios Consulares en línea. El usuario debe completar el formulario y subir al sistema la documentación exigida. (Los documentos deben estar en formato PDF y el nombre del archivo no debe tener símbolos o caracteres especiales o gráficos, para evitar errores al momento de abrir el archivo).
La visa será remitida en forma electrónica, desde el correo oficial del consulado al correo electrónico personal informado por el usuario. Es obligación del usuario imprimir la visa y portarla al momento de ingreso al país, junto con su documento de viaje vigente.
h) Los consulados podrán solicitar documentos adicionales, incluyendo un certificado de antecedentes penales apostillado o legalizado. Asimismo, podrán requerir una entrevista personal, a la cual se debe asistir presentando toda la documentación en original.
Artículo primero.- Establézcase la exigencia de una autorización previa o visa, otorgada por un consulado chileno en el exterior, como requisito para el ingreso y estadía en el territorio nacional, en calidad de titular de permiso de Permanencia Transitoria, de conformidad a lo establecido en el inciso segundo del artículo 27 de la ley Nº 21.325 de Migración y Extranjería, a los nacionales de los siguientes países:
